A Sprint LG Slider?

Slider The other day the Sheriff brought us the Fusic ll, we thought, yeah that’s nice, sorta upstagy, Sprint will most likely sell it like pancakes at iHop. But then through the magic of the internets, our little birdie drops the LG Messaging Slider on us. I can’t imagine that this will be the name when it hits the streets in Q4 07, but I can imgine it being a big hit for the number 3 US carrier, that is of course if they get it out first.

Sorry folks there aren’t too many details that we can bestow on you at the moment, but this is what we have so far:

Integrated Camera
Bluetooth
Slide out Qwerty
Micro SD
1xRTT

It looks like When this one hits it will be in $200 price point range, which of course should include all of the usual rebates. Like the Gandolf (Palm) The LG Messaging Slider is meant to appeal to the heavy texting crowd and will most likely include music downloading and Sprints PowerVision with EVDO speeds. I can’t say that I am seeing a wow factor here, but hey I’m a Treo guy. I can say it’s pretty good looking device. As always, as soon as we get more info we will get it out to you!

    We do not have a date as of yet, but knowing Sprint, now that they know we know, they’ll get it out as soon as possible. The ony info we have is Q4 which is the last few months of the year. Which is coming up fast actually!

    I cannot find this phone anywhere! It’s Dec. 2, so I would assume that it would be all over sprint.com by now; it’s not. I’m intrested in getting this phone. Please help:

    Dylan, it’s called the LG Rumor and Sprint has been selling them since October. We’ve talked about it extensively here. Call or go to Sprint, I’m positive you won’t have a problem picking one up.

    People, this pic is a story including the leaked photo in which we broke the coming of this device way back in June. The device came out in June, and is called the rumor. As stated in the above story, we new the name would change when it dropped.
