– Paris Fraking Hilton?

This will be the only time you ever read another post by me concerning Paris Hilton. Why one single person outside her family and friends gives a damn about her is far far beyond me. I would simply like to understand how and why the mainstream media can spend so much, so very much time and resources on this one particular waste of space, but cannot bring us the real news on what is happening in the Unites States Government. The government has gone un-challenged by the American mainstream media, allowing freedoms to be striped one by one. We as a Nation are not allowed to see our brave men and women come home drapped in the American flag (which is unprecedented) but we have to hear about this fraken idiot over and over and over again!

This is so terribly sad. So, so sad.

Keep in mind that for a lot of people, this is like sticking it to ‘em rich people and a better distraction than the Iraq war. Who wants to hear that another few more men and women died today from some suicide bomber?

In Canada, I’m still hearing about new casualties of Canadian soldiers in Afghanistan and I have to say that I personally don’t want to know anymore. It’s so depressing and sad that I am getting numb by it all. Thank goodness, Canada didn’t support the Iraq invasion.

And, it doesn’t do anything good to the morale of the troops either to hear about more people dying. Let’s face it, no troops are coming back for a long time. Withdrawing them now only fuels the insurgency and Al-Qaeda and makes them stronger. I still thought that it was stupid to invade Iraq but since it’s been done, you can’t go back. The only way is to try to stick with the plan. Leaving now only makes it much worse for the Iraqis, which, really was supposed to be the real reason, right? Let’s not talk about the oil either.
