2007_07_19t103517_330x450_us_arts_p With one day to go before the official release, the New York Times has published a review of the coveted last chapter in the Harry Potter series "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallow". This has brought about a heavy tongue lashing from the high priestess of children's books.

"I am staggered that some American newspapers have decided to publish purported spoilers in the form of reviews in complete disregard of the wishes of literally millions of readers, particularly children," she said. "I am incredibly grateful to all those newspapers, booksellers and others who have chosen not to attempt to spoil Harry's last adventure for fans," Reuters

The reviewer, Kakutani gives away details but not the final biggie and the Times says it got it's copy from a NY store. I'm not sure kids read the New York Times, but half of me wants to wag my finger at the writer, and the other half knows the writer got a good scoop.
