Dame Anita Roddick, founder of the Body Shop has passed away from a major brain hemorrhage at the age of 64. Mrs. Roddick went from having one store in southern England to over 2000 shops worldwide, and she was green and about conservation before it was en vogue. Her level of committment to social and environmental issues were not only inspirational to family, friends, and employees, but also to organizations such as Greenpeace. She is survived by her husband Gordon and her two daughters, Sam and Justine. Read
