Honda Helps The Disabled Walk

It’s like Bionics, but only on the outside.  Honda, fresh off the heels of making a Robot walk, a jet pack fly and recalling thousands of Honda’s, is now taking on the plight of the edlerly, the disabled and the down right lazy.

The boys and girls in the Honda labs have been hard at work with their robotics technology, making up something that could possibly stun the world.  The Walk Assistant will go on display at the nternational Trade Fair on Barrier Free Equipments & Rehabilitation for the Elderly & the Disabled, in Osaka.

Right now, brushless DC motors powered by lithium ion batteries will grampa working in the yard for two hours.  But we all know this will be purchased mainly by parents with teenaged kids.
