First let's state fact, because this is about Obama and someone in "his" church, it will get far more media coverage the McCain's Hagee scandal. Or anything surrounding the other two Pastors McCain enlisted to make him look in touch with church going folk.  Okay, now that that's out of the way, a quick note to Obama:

Dear Mr. Barack Obama,

Dude, I think it's time for you to walk away from that church of yours, wether you're the nominee or not.  Clearly your fellow congregation does not have your back.  I know it's difficult to walk away from a group or place that has been there for you in the past.  But there comes a time when one has to say "goodbye".  It's debatable that the time should have been right after the first incident, but it should now be clear that the clock has struck on that steeple.

With the Reverend firestorm that started, which should have ended your Presidential hopes now behind you, it's hard to fathom how a "Church" with a group of people and pastors who claim you as a brother, would even get anywhere near the vicinity of this political campaign.  With all the shenanigans going on within the Clinton camp, and the Television talking heads filling air time by giving air space to the ideal of Hillary Clinton possibly winning when there is no possible way, to have a member of your church mock her in a Sunday sermon, is tantamount to the Judas analogy.  Why in "Gods" name would anyone in that Church say anything about this campaign when they should know they are being watched at all times.  Sometimes, who we consider friends can turn out to be our worst enemies, and clearly there is a fog surrounding the loyalty of that particular congregation.

From Wright to Pastor Michael Pfleger and all those who didn't tell the two of them to shut the hell up, that fog of war looms thick over your church, so thick that you cannot see the aim from the pew.  So it's time to leave that battle field and regroup with some other divine allies.  Or just keep the whole Church thing out of the body politics all together, you'll be better off for it.

And remember, many before you have left their church behind them, walking to the edge of that town, taking off their sandals and leaving what offended them behind.  If you don't think you can do it, heed the words of a great political speaker:  "Yes we you can!"

Thank you for listening.
