If you're at work right now, chances are you're reading this post from your desktop running Windows XP.  How do I know that?  Because like most offices across the Globe, yours hasn't upgraded to Windows Vista.  You been sparred from a raging co-worker losing it over Vista.  This is precisely why Microsoft have announced they will continue to support Windows XP until the year 2014.

"In a letter sent to customers this week, Microsoft senior VP Bill Veghte said the software maker will provide security patches "and other critical updates" for Windows XP until April, 2014.  Our ongoing support for Windows XP is the result of our recognition that people keep their Windows-based PCs for many years," Veghte wrote."

Fear not, your office is still a safe place to work.
