Last night on CBS, they televised their version of "UFC light" Elite XC MMA fighting, which in all honesty, competition is good for the sport to gain exposure and importantly, increase purses for the fighters. If you are willing to give and take a beating, then it should be financially feasible. 1. Robbie Lawler def. Scott Smith in their rematch, by ref. stoppage at 2:35 of round two. 2. Nick Diaz def. Thomas Denny by ref. stoppage at :30 of round two. 3. Jake Shields def. Nick Thompson to win Welterweight championship by submission, guillotine choke, at 1:03 of round one. 4. Antonio Silva def. Justin Eilers to win Heavyweight championship by ref. stoppage at :19 of round two. 5. Rafael Feijao def. Travis Galbraith by ref. stoppage at 3:01 of round one. 6. Wilson Reis def. Brian Caraway by unanimous judges score card. 7. Cris Santos def. Shayna Bazler by ref. stoppage at 2:48 of round two, setting up future match with Gina Carano.
