So the basic gist of what happened between Christian Bale, his mother Sharon and one of his sisters, Jenny, was that they hit him up for a loan, cough cough, of $200k prior to his most recent premiere of Batman 2.  Now the twist is that Christian doesn't have a great relationship with either one of them, is having marital issues with his wife Sibi, and is doing press junkets in between shooting T4, a lot on his plate!  So, understanding the nature of the strained relationship between mom and sister, to get confronted for that kind of coin is pretty ridiculous as he said no although the money is supposed to be for Jenny to raise her three children.  I guess mom and sis got pissed and mom started to disrespect Christian's wife and he defended her and stormed off, but mom and sis lied and said that he laid hands on them, scandalo!  It doesn't matter how much money he has, it is his money, and this was his time and not the time or place for this issue to be broached.  Some people just don't care, and especially after all of the negative press he has been receiving, I wouldn't count on ANY cash.  Read
