Last to get it, first to throw it out.  Verizon is tossing aside the trusty Treo 755p to pay more attention to the sale of the popular Palm Centro.  The Treo 755p wasn’t on Verizon for very long, somewhere in the neighborhood of 7 months, but its sales were not very strong.
If you’re quick you can still grab one on contract at a reduced cost of $99, when they’re gone, they’re gone for good.  Fair thee well Verizon 755p, fair thee well.

I am VERY sorry to see Verizon get rid of the 755p. I currently own a 700p (which drives me crazy) and am about to switch to the Blackberry platform. I had hopes that if I was not satisfied with Blackberry I could always switch back to the Palm platform and get the 755p. I saw the Centro and can’t stand the small flimsy form factor. I guess my decision has been made for me. I’ll have to stick with Blackberry.
Hi Shelly, As a owner of the 600, 650(verizon) 700p, 755p, Centro (Sprint) I can tell you that odds are when you switch to the BB, you’ll never look back. I loved the 755p, but it has some of the same issues as the 700p, and I feel the same way as you re: Centro. Once you get used to the BB way, you’ll find that it is far and above superior to the Treo in far too many ways to list. Good Luck!
