The report states: ‘Global warming will affect the health and welfare of every American‘…… what you didn’t realize this? Yup as long as we’re on this planet it’s going to affect us all.

The bad news is, like most drastic changes in life the poor, elderly, and children will suffer the most, according to a new White House science report released on Thursday.

The 284-page report, stated every region of the country will be hit by a decrease in health from heat waves and drought. A handful of states will have a decrease in air quality and flooding. And to top it off an increase in diseases spread by tainted food, bad water and bugs is predicted.

What’s global warming? It’s caused by greenhouse gases from the burning of fossil fuels, like the gas in our cars. Scientists predict that if we keep on pumping out pollution at such a steady rate global temperatures are likely to rise by about 2 degrees by midcentury and about 7.5 degrees by the end of the century. Bad bad news for us….. you’ve guessed it, that’s when we get the drought and the disease mentioned in the report.

But here’s what is so strange, the report wasn’t intended to make recommendations for curbing global warming. Only last week, the EPA said it would not use the Clean Air Act to regulate carbon dioxide emissions, even though the U.S. Supreme Court said it could.

Why waste tax payer’s money on a report we are going to ignore?! If we keep turning a blind eye to how much pollution we produce as a nation, I guess we deserve all the heat, disease and devastation we get. Hell, we made it.
