"I feel sad, I feel like it's all my fault nobody could play."  Those are the words of a 9-year old boy who throws a 40 MPH fastball. Yeah, you read that right, 40 MPH.  The kid is so good that when he walked on the mound, the team his team was about to play, packed up and forfeited the game.

Now officials are saying they will disband his team and redistribute the players among the 3 other teams in the league.  Jericho Scott now feels like he has let his teammates down because he's so good.

"I think it's discouraging when you're telling a 9-year-old you're too good at something," said his mother, Nicole Scott. "The whole objective in life is to find something you're good at and stick with it. I'd rather he spend all his time on the baseball field than idolizing someone standing on the street corner."

Some are saying that this is retaliation because the leagues team owner wanted the youth to play for him, but Jericho went with the team sponsored by "Will Power Fitness."  Jericho's team was 8-0 and about to go to the leagues playoffs before he was banned from pitching.  Parents of players from other teams said they feared for the safety of their children even though Jericho has never beaned a batter.

Jericho's mother is now seeking legal help.  This is seriously messed up.  The kid is getting punished because he's seriously good.  Other parents are treating their children like they should fear him and they themselves are not good enough, and now their will be a courtroom battle over kids PLAYING a sport.

Also, a 9 year old boy throwing like that is going to blow his arm out before high school.  I think his mother should be a bit more worried about that aspect.
