Christina Applegate has always been one of my favorite comedic actresses from the early nineties, she just appealed to me a very smart woman who was about her business and not being a current “bad girl.”  Also, I had to pop this picture of Anchorman, the Legend of Ron Burgundy, because of I loooved that movie, and FYI they are working on the second one as I type.  But enought of that, the real story is that because of routine exams, and MRI was taken and she has been diagnosed with early stage breast cancer.  I know that Christina is and has always been a fighter, because her mom also valiantly fought breast and cervical cancer, and it is in her DNA to be a warrior.  My wife, although in remission, is a stage four breast cancer warrior, and some things I could tell Christina and anyone else who may know someone going through it the following things:  1. www.rationaltherapeutics.com.  Dr. Robert Nagourney takes a biopsy of the tumor and blasts is with different types of chemo to see which will be the most effective and they tailor a program for your treatment.  2. Change your diet completely, go organic as much as possible and stay away from all products containing refined sugar.  Cancer loooves refined sugar and the key to beating it is starving the cancer.  3.  Take supplements such as Capryllic acid, circumin, and ellagic acid, although ellagic acid is best found in organic blueberries, raspberries, and strawberries as they have the highest count.  The goal is to cause apoptosis, the starving of the tumor, so that they shrink to undetectable levels.  4.  If you are a religious or spiritual person, immerse yourself as well as ridding yourself of any internal/external toxic influences.  5. This one is totally optional, to talk to a professional if everything becomes too overwhelming, as the reality of death may become paralyzing.  Our three and a half year-old son is a great kid, but I told my wife that her ass was not going anywhere and especially was not going to leave me alone with him.  Also, laughter is and will always be the best medicine.
