Windows Mobile 6.1 just got a bit better for those who wish to run RIM's Blackberry Connect software on their Motorola Q9h.  PIM Sync and push via the Blackberry way is now a download away.

BlackBerry® Connect™ Software for Windows Mobile® provides access to BlackBerry wireless push email and more, including BlackBerry® Enterprise Server for corporate email and BlackBerry® Internet Service for personal/ISP email (such as AT&T, Yahoo, etc.). You will need to have a BlackBerry Connect data plan provisioned on your wireless service from AT&T.

You can download the BlackBerry Connect software, desktop software, and documentation to your computer, and install the BlackBerry Connect software to your Motorola MOTO Q 9h from your computer; you can also download and install the BlackBerry Connect software directly from your Motorola MOTO Q 9h. (Note: for devices running Windows Mobile 6.1 you can use the Get BlackBerry Connect shortcut on the Start Menu->IM & Email folder. For devices running Windows Mobile 6.0, please enter the following URL into the browser: http://www.motorola.com/us/Q9h/BlackBerryConnect

We recommend that you only choose the latter option if your wireless service is provisioned with an unlimited wireless data plan. Applicable BlackBerry Connect data rate plans as of October 1, 2007 include:

PDA Enterprise Unlimited for BlackBerry Connect - allows unlimited corporate (BlackBerry Enterprise Server) and personal (BlackBerry Internet Service) email plus web browsing and other data usage

PDA Enterprise Unlimited for BlackBerry Connect + Tethering - allows the above services, plus using the device as a modem for your laptop

PDA Enterprise Unlimited for BlackBerry Connect + Tethering + Cellular Video - allows the above services, plus Cellular Video service on your device
