You may have heard today that the deal between Virgin Mobile and Helio is a done deal as of today.  13 million shares of Virgin Mobile were given out to SK Telecom and EarthLink totaling out to around $38 million.  

We just got word that shortly after the deal was announced, Pink slips began to fly with a good deal of upper management at Helio being shown the door.  The Pink Slips were said to include store employees and other Helio employees, the way it’s sounding is that a whole lot of people were just laid off.
