Now I am really ticked off with Google.  How dare they release a major new player in the game, based on Apples Webkit but make me have to fire it up on a PC.  Now I have to sit around wondering when they are going to release it for MacOSX.

I only used it for a few hours yesterday, so I can't get in-depth, but man what a few hours. Chrome is fast, and right now, as a beta with a lot more to iron out, that's all that matters.  I switched back and forth from IE7 to Chrome, opening pages in Internet Explorer and doing my own bench marking test against the same pages opening in Chrome.  Then I tested it against Safari for Windows, Firefox and Opera (for Mac, on a Mac)  Chrome beat them all out every single time.  In fact, there were a ton of pages that would not even open in IE7 that opened like butter in Chrome.

Once Google gets this in "Stable" and gets rid of the EULA and makes it available to every OS, this is going to be a serious, serious challenger to every browser out there, and I'm sorry IE lovers, Explorer doesn't stand a chance.
