As a one time exclusive Palm user, I cannot tell you how many times I have written about Steve Jobs buying Palm and making the Treo “right”.  I really wanted Apple to make a phone.  Then BAMM!!! My prayers to the God of Tech were answered, Apple is making a phone!!  They made it, then give it to AT&T for what seems like a lifetime.
I’m with Sprint and I am not leaving, and if I did, I wouldn’t give my money to AT&T, ever.  Looks like I’ll never get my hands on a iPhone.  Now, out of the clear blue comes a rumor that on the base seems ludicrous, but after thinking a moment, it could be true.Word is on the street that Apple is prepping a CDMA team to get the iPhone ready to go.  Where will it go?  Verizon….. Another dagger in my heart.
If this rumor holds true, a announced to this effect will be made at Macworld 2009.  The problem.  Verizon has the exclusive with the Blackberry Storm which is RIM’s very frontal attack on the iPhone.  The Storm is the very first Touchscreen device made by Blackberry, and to be sold on the CDMA network exclusively in the US.  Someone is going to get their feelings hurt.
I’m not so sure I want to put heavy stock in this as of yet, but I will keep a very close eye on it.  In the meantime, read the full article.
