After McCain declared that he was suspending his campaign, to which none of his campaign quarters actually stopped campaigning.  Then he said he was not going to the debate because he had to fix the country first.  When a deal was made on the Bailout that fixed the country overnight, he would then resume campaign and be a debating machine.

Well no deal was made, and because he looks so foolish, he’ll be at the debate tonight.  But, before the debate can even kick-off, McCain has declared victory.  This is of course a mistake by the campaign, but how stupid do you look releasing a victory ad before you have the debate.
