Normally I stay away from the Spears stories, but the 17-year old(when she announced the first pregnancy) that kicked off the teen pregnancy fad is said to be pregnant yet again, pretty much right after having the first one.

Now let’s be real about this.  When it was announced the first time, there was overwhelming outrage, she lost her TV show and damn near everything else.  But when Sarah Palin was announced as the VP candidate, then we found out her 17-year old daughter was pregnant by a guy who does not want kids, it was all fine and a family affair.  

This is getting out of hand, and instead going down the path that helps young women understand that this is the wrong way to go, public figures and political enablers are steering teen pregnancy down “acceptable street.”
