Steve Ballmer Trashes Googles G1

If there's anyone I really can't stand it's this guy. Bill Gates would have gone a long way to help his company out by putting a muzzle on him and not allowing any photos. Now Uncle Fester is out there trashing Google's G1, saying it won't be "attractive" because it's "version one". He touts the Microsoft monopoly of 55 hardware makers and 175 carriers, to Googles 1 on both accounts.

This is how Microsoft got themselves in trouble in the first place. Mouthing off about their superiority. Apples one phone and one carrier has in a little over a year, put crink in the Windows Mobile style. RIM is destroying them with new and improved hardware and software, Mozilla has flat out flattened them with Firefox, Apple computers has clearly shown that there is another choice. Google and Yahoo has left them scrambling and now Android will capture a fairly sizable size of the WM market. There will be more handsets and more carriers, there is no doubt about that.

If this guy keeps running his smug mouth, Microsoft will quickly become the dinosaur that it is slowly becoming already.
