Those tax incentives that were put in place by the Bush administration that allowed buyers of huge gas guzzling SUV's to basically end up with a tank that amounted to the price of a low end motorcycle, are finally coming to a product where they belong. Green Power
The up coming Chevy Volt hybrid just got a little help from the Bail out bill that creates a $7,500 tax incentive for buyers who purchase the eco-friend(lier) electric vehicle from the US automaker.
Not sure how much of a consolation that will be since the Volt is said to put buyers back $40,000, but hey, it's a start in the right direction.
