Vodafone shocked the world when it announced that the Blackberry Storm will be free if potential users sign up with a lengthy, pricey contract. Now the Stateside Verizon is looking to get customers in their stores and Storms out of their stores with a possible nod toward the same.
The Verizon Storm wouldn't be free because after all, we're talking about Verizon, but it looks like the carrier may be thinking about giving lustful Storm seekers one hell of a price.
$99 could be the calling card for the Storm, and if so, there will be plenty who come calling as the holiday season is now here.
If this holds true or something very close, well below the $200 range, this could be a blockbuster seller for Verizon, the point being all those new contracts for two years.
