David Gregory To Take Over “Meet The Press”

 

MSNBC is crying foul saying they have no ideal where this news came from, but David Gregory’s agent isn’t saying it’s true, but he’s not saying it’s not either.  The Huffington Post is claiming to have knowledge that the former White House Bush griller turned TV host David Gregory will take over the reigns for the late great Tim Russert.  Which he nor no one else could ever do.

I’m not sure how I feel about this move if it is in fact a done deal, personally I think Gwen Ifill would have been a much better choice, but that would break up MSNBC and NBC’s long standing tradition of not having a qualified Black, Hispanic or Asian national anchor (host) anywhere on any of it’s primetime News programming.  And let’s not forget “Sunday Night In America” and Sunday Night Football.
