Verizon loves to over charge for handsets, it’s just what they do, and they do it well.  This time their eyes seems to have been too large for consumer pockets and the results showed up instantly.  The new Samsung Omnia hit the scene for a whopping $250.  $250 for a not so smart smartphone was leaving packages stocked neatly on backroom shelves.  Verizon got the hint and lowered the price to $199 which is still about $100 too much.

But if you’re willing to spend it, you can now get it for $50 less.
