Wow!  I mean really?  WOW!!  Ladies and gentlemen on the AT&T network, your carrier has just banned you from using those apps that you spent your cash on and love.  Those apps that make your smart-device worth its weight in monthly fees.  The iPhone offering company has changed its “Data Plan Terms Of Service” late Thursday night.  In the cold darkness the company now says that they prohibit customer initiated redirection of video, audio and television, meaning your Slingbox.  The downloading movies using P2P file sharing services, any app that allows one to tether to a computer or “Other Equipment.” Skype of course has also be banned since it falls under their banning of customer initiated redirection.

Now that AT&T has made it unlawful under their terms, and SlingMedia made it so users will have to by a brand new more expensive SlingBox to use the coming iPhone App, I think SlingMedia should scrap the app, and developers should make sure their apps don’t work on AT&T.  Maybe this way subscribers will stand up and fight for their right to not be treated like children under a communistic regime.  Seriously, what the hell is this AT&T?

Maybe this will breach your contract and you can go freely.  That is if you don’t like having your toys taken away from you.
