Mojo Messaging Service was the news of the day when Palm stepped out to talk about their much anticipated Palm Pre at the Web 2.0 Expo.  ”integrated cloud services” will be Palm’s form of push utilizing a “subscription system that will allow developer data to go up to the cloud and down to the Pre.  This is all for the webdev of the SDK for Palm’s new OS.  Palm told the audience that they are ready to start taking names of those ready to get in on with the Pre app development.

Friend of morninpaper, MotionApps, a Palm third party developer will be making a Palm OS Emulator to use the mass storage mode for integration of all those hundreds of Palm (Garnet) apps already bought and paid for by Palm faithful.  The emulator will bring a easy drag and drop of PRC files, but it’s not known if all or most of those PRC’s will run smoothly.

As you can imagine, this is big time good news for the Palm faithful, all that money and invested time may not go to waste.

Then there was the showing of a few of the apps already running )in Beta) on the new hotness. Sprint TV, a Nascar app (Sprint) Pandora which was the nicest off all shown off, the ability have your Pandora radio station play continually as you work in other apps is really sweet.  Amazon music store and Google Maps are just a few others shown off with what looked to be a very stable environment.  You can check out a little demonstration HERE.
