The web and all of its many ways to socially network, continues to prove just how stupid a gigantic portion of the population continues to be. In another bout with online stupidity, a group of elementary school girls created and posted a cartoon video called "Top Six Ways To Kill Piper." The video depicts (obviously) six different ways to do away with another classmate that the girls were not happy with. Here's the bigger point, and the reason. When confronted by the victims parent, some of the offending girls parents showed no interest at all, they could care less.

Where are these 6 girls parents? Some were described as “dismissive”! That’s why they are the way they are: lax, shitty parenting!! If my child EVER even THOUGHT of participating in this kind of bullying, I’d strip her life of EVERYTHING— cell phone, facebook, etc. DISGUSTING.

Very serious and vicious. These young girls need to be put into a program
if there are any by state officials with their parents to understand this kind of behavior is criminal and should be dealt with in a harsh manner

this is crazy i mean if i was their parent I would home school them so they couldn’t see these “friends” of the girls so they couldnt be bad influences any more.ITS DISGUSTING

This depravity makes me heartsick. I am shocked that the girls and their parents demonstrated little shame or remorse when this all came to light. Both the girls and their parents have earned a public “sitting down” and they should be made to apologize to the offended girl and her parents, all affected teachers, as well as the rest of the class….one by one and then as a group. I believe the apology should be filmed and posted, accompanied by a retraction of the original post, fulfilling a type of parity.

Have them write an essay about what it would be like to have six peers plan and publicize the means of their death. Of course any discipline should not be done for vengeance, but so that the offenders may develope empathy. Hopefully all this might light a fire lit under any and every cold conscience, parent or child.

I am not kidding, if these girls don’t “get” how evil their “posted” behavior is. both in intent and consequences, there will be worse in store for the future.

The natural and logical consequences should be dramatic, profound, and memorable.

Don’t any of you remember being a kid? Kids are miniature psychos. Honestly, I think it’s kind of funny. Oh, horrible and wrong of course, but also? Funny. They’re not exactly looking for a real gun now, are they?

Of course they should be punished (I’m also a big fan of kids getting a couple smacks on the ass for stupid stuff like this), but what’s with all the hysteria in the reaction?

I agree with Wench. For the most part…

My little sister did something like this about a TEACHER when she was in the 5th grade. She was punished at school AND at home.

One thing I never bought into was the whole “I said **** outside of school =D” Then get into trouble when you return.

I’ve seen kids get into fights 10 miles away from school grounds then get into trouble when they come back to school. Kinda stupid.

I agree with wench too. Little kids are psychos. This is exactly the kind of thing little kids do and have probably always done. Its not really a big deal. They should apologize to Piper and the parents should follow up to make sure the bullying and teasing stops.

But, making a big deal out of it doesn’t help.

To the last three posters, I am quite young and do remember what its like to be a kid, and I have to disagree with you. This is simply not acceptable. Kids exhibiting this kind of behaviour need to have it nipped in the bud immediately. Bulling is NEVER Ok. Its this kind of behaviour that drives child victims of such bullying to commit suicide. Let’s just hope you arent raising your own children to do such things. My children would never dear to something like this because not only do they understand that bullying is wrong, but they also fear (and rightfully so) the consequences of their actions.
