So you like watching those crystal clear TV shows online that you missed at home? It’s amazing that a website brought to you through a partnership between NewsCorp, NBC Universal and Disney, would allow anyone to watch shows from across the dial for free! Yep, amazing….
… That it took so long for an announcement like this one from Jonathan Miller, chief digital officer of NewsCorp, after stating that he sees paid subscriptions in Hulu’s future.
“in my opinion the answer could be yes. I don’t see why over time that shouldn’t happen. I don’t think it’s on the agenda for Monday [but] it seems to me that over time that could be a logical thing.”
Did you really think it was going to last forever?

This is incredibly disgusting to me. Just another way in which we are nickel and dimed in everything we do on the web. I understand that there are operating costs but that’s what they have advertisers for. We don’t pay to watch broadcast and I’m not about to start paying to watch those same tv’s online. They either charge the advertisers more or I walk away from them. I’ll simply use my Tivo and zip through the commericals, something you can’t do online.
