Remember the Palm Eos ? It’s the little Palm that could…..go to AT&T this year. But it looks as though the next in line to the Palm Pre won’t be seeing the light of day for a little while, as TechCrunch’s Michael Arrington, the guy who leaked it notes:
Palm has decided to put the Pixie on hold until they have better visibility into how its current models are selling in the market.
It seems that Palm is holding back due to low sales of the Pre, which anyone with half a brain would easily theorize that as Palm’s fault. Sending 5 units to stores on launch day is sure to only sell 5 devices in those stores.
Anyway, at the moment this is just a rumor, but it is most likely true.

That really blows Mr. Arrington’s credibility, not to mention yours.
“It seems that Palm is holding back due to low sales of the Pre, which anyone with half a brain would easily theorize that as Palm’s fault.”
The Pre sold over 100,000 units in the first week. It sold out on opening weekend and most people who came in after Saturday are still on a waiting list.
This is not because Sprint “Sen(t) 5 units to stores on launch day.” That is totally false. My local stores had 15-75 depending on the store size. And I am in Indianapolis.
Palm sold all they were able to make prior to launch due to manufacturing constraints (not $). And as they received more, they shipped and sold them immediately.
A rumor of a delay for Pixie is 1) a rumor – just like the phone was to start 2) if true definitely NOT due to low sales of the Pre.
What a ridiculous post.
Arrington is a troll on some sort of vendetta quest against Palm for notsending him a review unit.
