This is when you just want to choke manufactures. A few months after you purchase a big boy iPod Touch or iPod, suddenly you begin to hear rumors that the next generation will include a camera just like the iPhone. Not only will you be able to snap pics with your iPod, but you’ll also have video snagging capabilities just like it’s sibling.

Now, sometime in September most likely, your iPod of choice is going to look like a chump because it can’t snap a pic. This is according to a very believable rumor making the rounds today. Adding to the fuel is TechCrunch, they are claiming that Apple has ordered a boatload of new cases that include the cut outs for the camera eye. Dang!

Oh well, don’t fret. 6 months after the lucky ones grab an iPod Touch with camera and video, Apple will introduce the “Come Here” iPhone/iPod Touch. It will walk over to you and hop up in your lap when called.
