Web OS To Get .1 Bump Soon, Palm Pre WebOS 1.1 Is On Its Way, With Nothing Exciting

Barely out of the wading pool of 1.0.4, it looks as though Palm is ready to bestow a little bump on us version wise. 1.1 is on the way to a Palm Pre near you, and although we move from .0.4 all the way to .1, at the moment it doesn’t look as though it will packing anything too interesting to the average consumer. Word has it that the bump will package some corporate business improvements to make companies happy and give the Pre a fighting chance in the business market.

Support for device wipe on too many failed PIN attempts and better Exchange management. Those are nice and an update is always a good thing, but I want to see some wow! Some bang, some…. You get the picture.

Looks like the update will drop sometime in the next 30 days so be on the look out. And who knows, maybe Palm will pack it up with some nice new features, or improvements on some old ones, like customizable audio equalization.
