Way, way back in the olden days of March 09, Apple filed a lawsuit against Australian retailer, “Woolworth.” The company that made the iPhone claims that the newly touched up Woolworth logo comes little too close for comfort to their apple logo. Suddenly Woolworth wants to have a global discussion about this and it has now become news. The Aussie company says that their logo is just a ‘W’ with a fancy leaf, Apple showed them the hand and said, What you talkin’ bout Willis!?.

Given the fact that Woolworth sells electronic goods, a good deal of them aimed at youthful dollars, Woolworth doesn’t stand a chance in this legal battle. But, the whole operation can and should be considered a success. We’re talking about Woolworth now, a company I thought had long ago gone completely out of business.
