31-year old Liew Siaw Hsia was on her way to Kuching from Penang when her carry-on luggage forced the pilot to divert to Kuala Lumpur. Her carry-on was baby who had enough of the flight and wanted out. While still 2,000 feet up Liew gave in to the wishes of her baby and gave birth, 11 weeks before he was due. Both mom and early arrival son where rushed to a nearby hospital and were said to be in good condition.

To celebrate the final stage of what can happen in the ‘mile high club’ AirAsia has promised both mom and son free flights for the rest of their lives. Pretty cool! Hopefully AirAsia flies to more places than just those two cities.
