Ones heart has to go out to this women.  Charla Nash, the woman who suffered a vicious attack from Travis the Chimp back in February of this year, has released photos of the damage done by Travis to her face.   Charla lost her eyes, nose and lips in the attack that saw her trying to fend off the chimpanzee that was attacking his owner,  Sandra Herold.

“I don’t ask a whole lot about my injuries… I know that I have my forehead,” she said.”

Charla spoke with Oprah Winfrey and told her that she was hoping to see again.  However this was before she learned that she has no eyes.

Travis the Chimp was put down by police officers when he attacked them after they arrive at the scene.  This was a horrible story when it happened, and as we all keep up with Charla’s story, news from the Cleveland hospital was grim.   But after seeing her, it’s a miracle that she survived, but it is incredibly horrific what happened to this woman who was only trying to help her friend from being killed herself.
