You can lead Facebook to WebOS, but you may not be able to lead many WebOS users to Facebook for it. Palm has released mobile Facebook for the WebOS, giving Palm Pre and Palm Pixi users the first real look at the social networking craze since WebOS entered the scene. Sadly, this is much ado about nothing. but if you are a light, and I mean light Facebook user, the app could be good enough for you as is. You can comment, view friends list and pictures, but don’t try and really Facebook because the buck stops there. You will need WebOS 1.3.1 to be installed to use this somewhat useless Facebook app.

At least users can now tell friends that they have Facebook on their Pre, or Pixi. Just don’t try and use the Facebook app to tell them.
