Once again early adopters get hosed by the price drop weeks after the release of the hot new product. But that’s okay, the HTC Hero is such a fantastic device that I don’t mind seeing $79 shaved off the price I paid a short few weeks ago. Okay, I mind, but what are you going to do.

For anyone ready to leap into the wide world of Android, now is the time to do it. Sprint and Best Buy have dropped the price of both the HTC Hero and the Samsung Moment. You’ll need to sign away 2 years of your life, but you should be used to that by now, correct? Hurry up though, there is a time limit on the savings, December 31st to be exact.
