Oh Snap! Mr. Grumpy grump himself, Lou Dobbs went on the air tonight to host his nightly bash Latinos show, and abruptly quit. The anchor has come under considerable fire in recent weeks for his continual bashing of Latinos. Then there was the whole incident in which Mr. Grumpy Grump decided to hold on to the idea that President Obama is not a citizen. Since CNN prides itself (whether you agree or not) on not getting into the partisan debate with show after show hosted by ideological hacks who wear their political affiliation on their foreheads, Dobbs really began to look, feel and sound completely out of place on the network. Calls for his dismissal by Latin groups had become very loud. Dobbs, who has been preaching the evils of Latino immigration five nights a week for about 6 years now, has shrugged off rumors of his moving over to FoxNews.
