There was never any doubt that the Palm Pre would end up on Verizon at some point. We know that the Palm Pixi is being given the once over to make it’s big red debut, but the battle over CDMA exclusivity of the Pre seemed to be holding up. Looks like that’s all over. The leak of the internal memo for Verizon employees, shows us that Verizon is getting their staff ready to sell the WebOS device alongside the Pixi.

Now comes word that the Pre won’t just be a Pre, it will be a Pre Plus. Your guess is as good as any as to what the ‘Plus’ means. The Droid Eris is really no different than the Hero on the inside, so what could Verizon be cooking up that will make the Sprint Palm Pre a Verizon Palm Pre Plus? And will this Plus delay its outing? Verizon is notorious for gutting great devices to inject a bunch of their crap. Will this be the same? We now know a little more, but the little more makes us need to know more. It’s a vicious circle, It’s so confusing!!!
