Twitter’s DNS records were compromised by a hacker or group of hackers identifying themselves as the “IRANIAN CYBER ARMY.” In the wee hours of Friday (today) morning, anyone logging onto the Twitter homepage were greeted with the above photo and this message:
THIS SITE HAS BEEN HACKED BY IRANIAN CYBER ARMY
iRANiAN.CYBER.ARMY@GMAIL.COMU.S.A. Think They Controlling And Managing Internet By Their Access, But THey Don’t, We Control And Manage Internet By Our Power, So Do Not Try To Stimulation Iranian Peoples To….
NOW WHICH COUNTRY IN EMBARGO LIST? IRAN? USA?
WE PUSH THEM IN EMBARGO LIST
Take Care.
Twitter has regained control and all is good in tweet land. But if this is indeed real, seems a little odd to attack the the one place that did everything possible to help keep communications going while insanity broke out over Iranian elections.
