All this news about Android 2.0-2.1 coming to the HTC Hero and the Motorola Droid could leave a Droid Eris owner feeling a little like a third child. Sprint’s HTC Hero is bound for 2.1 glory while yesterday we learned that the MotoDroid could be first in line to take the step up, which is a smaller step for the Moto. But Eris owners can now rejoice as Verizon has announced that they will be including the Droid Eris in the (2) plans sometime in 2010.
This means that owners can look forward to a little Google Maps Navigation in their future, hurray! However, like everyone else we will all have to wait for an exact date. But knowing is half the battle.
