Anyone on Boost Mobile or thinking of jumping onto the contract-less carrier may or may not have a good reason to cheer. If you’re not looking for a older model Blackberry at cost that’s $200 more than a major carrier on contract price, then life can go on as usual for you. But if you’re a Boost Mobile customer and you’ve been dying for a tried and true Blackberry smartphone, get ready to cheer!

Word is, come January 13th, Boost Mobile will sport the Blackberry Curve 8330 for $249. That’s out the door when coupled with unlimited talk, data and text for $70 per month. Not a bad deal, as long as you stay in your designated calling area.
