Dave Zatz, the guy who introduced me to SlingPlayer a few years back, got the word first hand that SlingMedia is currently working on a SlingPlayer for the Android OS! This is very, very good news! I have always thought the SlingPlayer on Android would resemble the application on the old PalmOS. Believe it or not, it was flawless. With Sprint’s then EVDO and now 3G speeds, watching my television on my Hero is sure to be just has smooth as it was on my Treo.

Let’s just hope it doesn’t come with the outrageous iPhone pricing, or the Blackberry device limits. Sadly most Blackberry users still cannot use SlingPlayer on their device due to OS or network.
