Who other than People Magazine would get the ‘Lifetime Channel’ styled interview with the other half of the ‘story of the year?’ No one. Elin Nordegren sat down with the grocery store mag and spoke outwardly for the first time since chasing Tiger down the driveway with a Golf Club. Is it any wonder why he’s having trouble with his game these days? Seeing a Golf Club must by harrowing. Work through it Tiger, work through it.

Elin talks about the life she wanted for her and her two children Sam, 3, and Charlie, 19 months, and her plans for her degree in psychology. Like most spouses that suffer through a humiliating public divorce that makes top news headlines around the entire world, Elin says she now feels stronger than ever before.

“I have been through the stages of disbelief and shock, to anger and ultimately grief over the loss of the family I so badly wanted for my children. I also feel stronger than I ever have. I have confidence in my beliefs, my decisions and myself. My immediate plan is for the kids and me to continue to adjust to our new situation. I am going to keep taking classes, but my main focus is to try to give myself time to heal,”

You can read the entire interview as well as view some never before seen photos in the latest People Magazine.
