Steve Jobs has resigned from his post of being all things successful for Apple. We all knew this day was coming, but it is still a bit of a shock to the tech system.

First there was the black Cobra that became a celebrity after escaping its Bronx zoo confinement. When it was found the world rejoiced but its celebrity quickly faded back into obscurity, now its just another snake.

Taking its place is an escaped Peacock that perched itself high up on a swanky New York apartment building. The Peacock got out of the Central Park Zoo and flaunted its good looks to all from a 3rd floor perch of a Fifth Avenue apartment building.

Then, as abruptly as it arrived, the Peacock spread its wings at 6:45am this morning and returned to the Central Park Zoo, unharmed and unchanged by its new celebrity.

A 14-year old mother in Sao Paulo Brazil, gave birth to a baby girl. The baby was pronounced dead after being born, and the time of this writing there is no word on why the baby girl died.

The baby was sent to the mortuary and the undertaker began preparing the body for burial when the baby girl sudden began to cry. The undertaker rushed the infant to the hospital where surprised doctors placed the baby in intensive care.

UPDATE: Sadly it has been reported that the baby did not survive in intensive care.

After weeks and weeks of scare tactics, allowing the markets to dip and setting the stage for the downgrading of the United States credit, a deal that allows the raising of the debt ceiling is on its way to becoming signed, sealed and delivered.

After hours and days of hard work, Senate Majority leader Harry Reid, and Minority leader Mitch McConnell hammered out a deal that President Obama and John Boehner both say isn’t the best deal possible.

Final hammering, grand standing and time wasting will take place Monday before the deal is signed and approved by all three branches, beating the August 2nd deadline.

Amy Winehouse, the grammy award winning singer has lost her battle with drug and alcohol abuse today. She was found in her North London home dead from an apparent drug overdose. The singer has battled drug abuse since 2007 and has been in and out of rehab.

She was recently released from her latest stay in rehab, and booed off the stage for a drunken performance in Germany to kick off a new tour. After that performance she quickly put the full tour on hold.

Winehouse was 27 years-old.

Rupert Murdoch and his son James Murdoch are at this moment, facing Parliament over the phone hacking allegations that are threatening to take down the Murdoch media machine. For their part, the two are denying they had anything to do with, nor had any knowledge of any wrong doing in their company. This is per usual for any CEO of any company.

Putting that aside, the scandal has deeply affected British citizens. Anger over the hacking into the voicemail of a family victimized by the murder of their young daughter, has shocked and appalled the entire country. The evidence of that is quite clear.

Todays hearing have been interrupted by a lone pie-man, who has hit Murdoch with the pie during the News Corp bosses testimony. At the moment, all indications are that the man acted alone, Murdoch is fine, and it may have been a plate filled with shaving cream.

39-year-old firefighter, Shannon Stone, fell to his death Thursday afternoon while trying to catch a foul ball struck into the stands in Arlington, Texas.

Stone went over the rail and fell 20 feet behind the left field wall. The firefighter was immediately rushed to the hospital where he later died from head injuries. Before leaving for the hospital on a stretcher, Stone asked the paramedics to find his 6-year old son who was still up in the stands, alone.

The is the second fall from the same stands in a year. last year, another man fell 30 feet, but survived his injuries.

Yikes! Arizonians awoke this morning to a horrifying 50-mile wide, and 1-mile high dust storm rapidly moving through the state. It is believed that 60MPH winds helped push the dust cloud over the city of Phoenix which found itself being blanketed late Tuesday night.

Residents woke to a city cover in dust, more than usual. The Storm that pushed the mile high dust cloud, covered skyscrapers, grounded flights, knocked out power and sent the emergency phone lines into overdrive.

Mark Halprin, an editor for Time Magazine, contributor to MSNBC and clearly a right leaning journalist, called the President of the United States a ‘D*%k on Joe Scarborough’s ‘Morning Joe’ this morning. I would like to point out that nothing ike this was ever said about G.W.Bush or Dick Cheney, even after he shot a “friend” in the face.

Halperin has been suspended from his commentating duties at the network after making the huge gaffe, and has issued an apology.

I completely agree with everything in MSNBC’s statement about my remark. I believe that the step they are taking in response is totally appropriate. Again, I want to offer a heartfelt and profound apology to the President, to my MSNBC colleagues, and to the viewers. My remark was unacceptable, and I deeply regret it.

Halperirn was referring to the statement issued by MSNBC after his suspension.

Mark Halperin’s comments this morning were completely inappropriate and unacceptable. We apologize to the President, The White House and all of our viewers. We strive for a high level of discourse and comments like these have no place on our air. Therefore, Mark will be suspended indefinitely from his role as an analyst.

According to the NATIONAL ENQUIRER, the married father of two boys and undercover journalist, Chris Hansen, has been the subject of the Enquirer’s hidden cameras in Florida. According to the grocery store mag, Hansen has been carrying on an affair with Kristyn Caddell, a reporter for WPTV in West Palm Beach, Fla.

The mag claims the “To Catch A Predator” host has been cheating on his wife with the reporter for four months, and that they have the photos and footage to prove it.

But I have to question the motive of a company or individual that would go after a guy that has spent his life going after scum who prey on children, then try and make a moral equivalent between pedophiles and a guy cheating on his wife with an adult woman.

Here we are having this grand debate on whether or not two grown adult people can have the ‘right’ to ‘marry’ ‘for love’ in this country, all the while the Supreme Court informs us that it is ‘Unconstitutional’ to ban the sale of graphic and incredibly violent video games to children.

In a 7-2 vote Monday morning, the High Court held up the Sacramento California, Supreme Court ruling that tossed out a law banning children under the age of 18, from buying or renting any violent video games. The Court held the belief that the law violated the Fourteenth amendments and “minors rights.” The nations highest court agreed.

Somewhere around the 10:30 mark in New York, the New York State Senate passed a bill legalizing Gay Marriage. Now only the sixth State in America, New York will begin performing legal Gay Marriage 30 days from today. (Correction: 30 Days after Gov. Cuomo signed the bill)

The vote was 33-29 in favor after a ton of long speeches that went into the night, serving the purpose of giving political cover to Republicans who voted yes. The hugely popular Gov. Andrew Cuomo vowed to get the bill passed hours before being elected, and his goal has been seen through tonight.

Good to see America, if only in parts, live up to its lofty goals and inspirations.

Suddenly the cockpit microphone comes on and all you hear is a pilot discussing his sexual exploits, or the lack thereof due to what he (the pilot) deems as a city of Gay, grannies and Grandes.

You are not going to believe your ears when you hear what was transmitted over the airwaves for passengers, pilots of other planes and at least one controller tower to hear. Keep in mind, the pilot was allowed to keep his job.

On June 12th, Clarence Clemons, Saxophonist for Bruce Springsteen’s ‘E Street Band,’ suffered a stroke that eventually took his life on June 18th. This past Saturday in Anaheim California, U2 spoke in tribute to the great, and dedicated “Moment of Surrender.”

Weiner had said that he would make a decision when his pregnant wife returned home from a trip abroad, helping Hilary Clinton secure world peace. Apparently his wife is back and she wants his resignation, because sources say that Minority leader Nancy Pelosi has already been notified by Weiner of his intentions.

Now, after today, hopefully those in the 24 hour talking head news rooms can find something else to talk about.

This was the freighting site over German skies Sunday after none as a A60 airship, burst into flames and crashed to the ground. The entire event was captured by one of the three passengers, Joachim Storch. Storch and two other passengers on the doomed Blimp jumped to safety as the A60 came within 2 meters of the ground. When they passengers left the Blimp, the Blimp immediately shot back up into the sky engulfed in flames, flames that eventually killed the pilot. The passengers said they could hear the pilot screaming as the Blimp climbed higher after their exit.

It is believed that a gasoline leak caused the engines to ignite, the pilot then tried to bring the Blimp to the ground, but was unsuccessful.

For three hours in a Indian City, two wild Elephants went berserk and terrorized residents, destroyed property and killed one man. The wild elephants roamed into the city with two others that remained on the city outskirts, came from a jungle only 22 miles away. The two elephants were later captured.

The lives of five more American soldiers were claimed today in Iraq. Five soldiers training Iraqi police fell victim to a rocket attack that targeted a base in Bagdad. The American deaths stands as the largest one day Iraq death total in two years.

Early reports say that two men believed to be responsible were found dead, killed by a failed launch attempt.

The man, the myth. The guy who singled handedly made death cool, Dr. Jack Kevorkian has died at the tender age of 83. Dr. Jack Kevorkian was a longtime assisted suicide advocate who worked tirelessly to help those with a terminal illness, end their lives on their terms.

The “right to life” debate heated up in the 80′s when Kevorkian began treating patients with his self subscribed suicide machine. The god doctor spent many hours in court and 8 years of a 15-year prison sentence in Michigan for helping those suffering pain caused by diseases that slowly took their lives. Kevorkian saw assisted suicide as humane and dignified treatment, as did the patients that excepted is prescription.

Dr. Jack Kevorkian died peacefully this morning in William Beaumont Hospital.

A large group of students on a field trip to Baltimore’s National Aquarium, had to break up into smaller groups for lunch to accommodate restaurant capacity and the number of available Chaperones.

One of the paired off chaperones put their heads together and decided the best place to take a group of 15 to 20 8th grades students to eat, would be Hooters. So they went to Hooters.

Other than this story showing up in headlines, there has been no fallout from the chaperones actions.

Oh Snap, Glenn Beck, you just got prison b%$ch slapped! A slap deserved for a very long time. This time Glenn Beck may have stepped into something he can’t just talk his way out of. After making loads and loads of horrendous comments about women and minorities and getting paid by advertising companies to do so, Glenn Beck opened his big fat disgusting mouth about daughter of Senator John McCain, Meghan McCain and her involvement with a group trying to educate women on the dangers of skin cancer.

Completely and totally unnecessary. There was absolutely no need for him to go there, other than the fact that this is what right wing radio talk show host do to become millionaires in America. But Meghan didn’t just take it, she fired back, strong.

“Clearly you have a problem with me, and possibly women in general, but the truth is, it’s 2011 and I heard your show on Fox was canceled,” McCain wrote. “Isn’t that an indication that the era of the shock jock pundit is over?…There really is no need to make something like my participation in a skin cancer PSA into a sexist rant about my weight and physical appearance, because I’m going to let you in on a little secret, Glenn: you are the only one who looks bad in this scenario, and at the end of the day you have helped me generate publicity for my skin cancer PSA, a cause that I feel quite passionate about.”

After checking with his local CHP (California Highway Patrol) department, the Camaro in question was found to have been stolen all the way across country in 1975.

This is truly getting out of hand. In what is now the fourth in-flight passenger disturbance inside of a week, a Delta Airlines passenger tried to open the cabin door during the flight.

Flight 1102 from Orlando to Boston saw a male passenger jump up and try to open the cabin door before an off duty policeman could grab and subdue the lunatic for the duration of the flight. Although not as fun as “Boobs on a plane” or as scary as the guy from Yemen attempting to open the cockpit doors, this latest lose of sanity 35,000 ft up should send a message to congress. It may be time to enact some very stiff penalties for disruptions onboard planes. Mandatory 5-10 year sentences or something like that. It seems that folks are beginning to think this kind of behavior is fun. Having been on a plane that had to make a crash landing, I can tell you, there’s nothing fun about it.

Conjoined twin girls born in the southwest region of China are not the first to be born fused together, but they may be the first to be born with one body and two heads. The twin girls have two spines, one and a half hearts and share almost all of the other body parts. While flying the friendly skies from Chicago to New York on Saturday, a mentally ill woman stood in the aisle and removed her clothing. The woman stripped completely nude before the flight attendants rushed to cover her. The woman reportedly repeatedly scream “No” as the attendants tried to cover her with a airline blanket.

The woman described as being in her late twenties, was detain after the Delta Airlines flight arrived safe and sound in New York.

Apparently the killing of Bin Laden has made some go insane while on a domestic flight. In flight lunacy has seen a uptick since the 9/11 perpetrator was removed from the planet.

The President of these United States, took to the podium at tonights White House Correspondents Dinner and wow’ed the audience. The President took aim in fun at a few politicians, news agencies and baffoons in pink ties, all of which have spent the past few weeks degrading him. Tonight was his chance to hit back, and hit back he did.

Around eighteen minutes into the clip, you will get to the juicy part, that is when the President takes aim at Trump and hits him square in the ego. But I suggest watching the entire clip, it is well worth it.

After showing his birth certificate to the portion of the racist nation that just can’t believe that this ‘Black’ President was born in this country. A belief so strong that the idea of him being able to alter reality before he was even born, was more believable to them than the fact of him being an American citizen could ever be, even after all the evidence had been provided and proved.

After showing the birth certificate, President Obama spoke to the media and scolded them in that Obama way, intelligently and fatherly, letting them know just how sad it was that even they, whom all know better, allowed this non-issue to become the focus point of the daily discussion, even while the nation is in the middle of huge transformative problems.
