Scientists from Denmark have discovered that a nursing mother’s breast milk can be flavored by the food we eat. Really. Researchers asked 18 lactating mothers to provide a sample of their breast milk before and after eating flavored capsules. The capsules contained compounds that give caraway seeds, menthol, banana and licorice their flavor. The milk was then analyzed by high-tech machinery. The findings suggest that flavored breast milk may be beneficial to babies, by preparing them to try new foods as they grow up. But not to worry all four flavors disappeared from the women’s milk eight hours after they ate the capsules. Bon appetite baby!

According to People Magazine, last night at 6:22pm the two gave birth to a healthy, unnamed baby boy who weighed in at 7lbs 4oz.  I am pretty sure that Matthew was in tears at the arrival at his little son, I cried like a baby when I saw my son come into this world.  It is truly one of the most beautiful and amazing things one can experience in a lifetime.  Now we can all look forward to naked father and son bongo playing days and nights, that should be priceless.  Somehow, I don’t see Matt and Camila trying to financially capitalize on the birth to the entertainment rags, but if he wants to give us at Morninpaper an exclusive, it’s a done deal!

A study of 28,886 women found that those who ate two or more servings of lower-fat dairy every day were less likely to develop high blood pressure over a 10-year period. Those who took calcium and vitamin D supplements or ate higher -fat-dairy didn’t lower their risk, according to the study results, reported in the journal Hypertension.
