The Who Dat nation has scored! The NFL got greedy and decided they weren’t making enough billions a year by going after New Orleans Saints fans who were making T-Shirts. The NFL sent a cease and decease letter to vendors making shirts with the popular “Who Dat” phrase on them. But since the T-Shirts do not say “New Orleans Saints” or “NFL” the NFL has no right to stop venders from sellers wares with the phrase.

“People can use Who Dat all they want if it doesn’t include NFL and Saints trademarks,” said NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy, in an e-mail. “We explained that we would contact merchants only if a Who Dat item also contained NFL or Saints trademarks or if it is falsely claimed that an unauthorized item is affiliated with the Saints or NFL.”

Your old, wear-around-the-house jeans can be washed in warm or cold water, then tumble dry on low. But for your favorite pair or a brand new pair, follow these instructions. Turn inside-out and wash in COLD water. Do not use BLEACH, unless you like that tye-dyed look. Use a detergent made especially for dark colored clothing. Mix with other dark colored clothes, and don’t overcrowd the machine (four pairs of jeans per load). After washing, turn right-side out and air dry. Some people perfer to dry-clean their dark- wash jeans so the finish lasts as long as possible.

Officials in Mason County Washington have decided the scantily clad baristas at an espresso stand are erotic entertainers. Do people leave dollar bills when they pickup their coffee? Officials say the women will have to cover up or ‘Espresso Gone Wild’ will have to go. The stand opened last month and drew complaints at the July 30 meeting of the Mason County Board of Commissioners. Commissioners sent the women a letter saying the coffee stand is not zoned for erotic entertainment. The owners said they didn’t expect the backlash and will comply with regulations and put their tops on. It’s not the first conflict over barely-dressed baristas. Half-naked baristas in Washington’s Bonney Lake made national news after parents protested, prompting attorneys for Pierce County to declare the stands adult entertainment, that can be regulated just like a strip club. Since then the baristas have reportedly toned down their attire. Pasties anyone?
