Can sausage be considered a dangerous weapon? Well, that was the case in Fresno, California, when a man broke into a home of two California farm workers. He stole their money, rubbed one with spices and whacked the other with an 8″ sausage before fleeing. What did he do with an 8″ sausage. The sheriff’s department arrested the 22-year old sausage whacker who was found hiding in a field wearing only a t-shirt, boxers and socks after the Saturday morning attack. The deputies arrested the suspect after finding his wallet containing his ID in the ransacked house. So are they sure it was a sausage? Was the alleged sausage ever recovered? Are they sure he didn’t just ROB the guy and then rub his 8″ sausage with spices? Was it actually 8″ or did the burglar exaggerate the weapon size? So many scenario’s, but no answers. Use your imagination. And then there’s how they found the suspect dressed?

Shinobi warriors, the self titled description for two men dressed in Ninja gear and armed with Martial arts weapons, were out on the streets keeping their part of the world safe for all who live there.  Knives, throwing stars, swords, nunchucks, Bow and arrows and a wealth of “Kung Fu Theater” stood in the way of any drug dealer trying to peddle theirs wares where these Ninjas silently crept. 

But like any good Ninja, Tadeusz Tertkiewicz, 20, and Jesse Trojaniak, 19, went around delivering letters informing potential evil doers of their existence.

“Shinobi will stop your cruel and sadistic intentions with justified yet, merciful force.”

Yeah, so much for that.  they got arrested on weapons charges and one of the men delivered a letter to his ex-girlfriend, very un-Ninja like guys.  Ninjas don’t announce their intentions, their existence, threaten their ex’s or get caught.

That’s when the groom decided to pick a fight with a wedding guest. Then the police came, and knowing the groom from previous arrests, they realized that the bride, his ex, still had a order of protection in force. I guess the new bride in all the excitement of the wedding plans forgot to cancel the order of protection she had on her ex, now her new hubby. So he was ordered to jail without bail. Congrats?

Okay here is one for the blog. A man walks into a Subway sandwich shop, just wanting his sandwich make the correct way, the way he wanted it. But no, he starts to argue and yell at the employees. So the employees of t he Subway lock him out of the shop. So the customer calls 911 and tells them that his sandwich is not being made the right way and he wanted an officer. When they didn’t come he called again to complain that the officers weren’t arriving fast enough. So when the police did arrive, they tried to calm the man and explain the proper use of 911. Those efforts failed so he was arrested on a charge of making false 911 calls. Sorry it’s not Burger King, you it can’t have it your way.

1000 TIMES. That is one of the assignments that two pre-teen girls got after they broke into the founder of Chick-fil-A, S. Truett Cathy’s home in Florida. The girls broke into Cathy’s home two weeks ago and sprayed fire extinguishers, threw eggs (at lot of that going around) and left the water running in the kitchen. They did an estimated $30,000 in damages. So instead of charging the girls and leaving them with a criminal record, Cathy has decided upon this as the punishment. Write “I will not vandalize other people’s property” 1000 times. They’re also banned from watching TV and playing video games and must read a good book, maybe read a few of Mr. Cathy’s books, yah, like that that will teach them a lesson, don’t you think?

Passengers aboard a Canadian Greyhound bus watched in horror as a passenger stabbed the man sitting next to him and then beheaded him.  The victim was sleeping with his headphones on when the man seated next to him suddenly began stabbing him.  None of the passengers heard any exchanges between them prior to the violence.  Passengers heard a scream then saw the suspect standing up, stabbing the victim repeatedly.  The bus driver became aware of the horror, stopped the bus and everyone scrambled off.  The suspect  had the victim on the floor of the bus and “was cutting his head off” with a large hunting knife.  The witnesses said the suspect was calm while he was attacking him.  The suspect was arrested as he tried to escape from the bus three hours after the violence.  No motive has been determined and they refused to identify the suspect or victim.  I guess the next thing we’ll need is a metal detector at the bus station o heck for weapon.  We are not are safe anywhere.

The prosthetic leg of a 48 year-old woman from Sierra Vista, AZ has been returned to her after it was stolen two weeks ago. The police said a man brought the leg to the station, saying his son had found it near a trash can. Yeah, right. Apparently, this was the woman’s spare leg. She said she used the 11 year old leg for yard work and other outside activities as not to ruin her good leg. She said she set the spare leg next to her car in the driveway so she could easily get to it, but someone “ran” off with it. The woman was happy to get her leg back, but she is still disappointed that someone took it in the first place. Like what could you do with a prosthetic leg. The leg was valued at $2000, but could have cost $15,000 to replace.

UPDATE from story posted 07/07/08 by Admin. Turns out Taco, the Chihuahua discovered severed in two earlier this month, was a victim of another animal not a deranged human.  A trio of veterinarians determined that Taco met his cruel fate at the fangs of another animal.   Police have no word on what sort of animal is suspected.   Well,. thank goodness there was no human involved, that is sucha ascary thought.  But how did the animal get in and out of the yard and why didn’t he eat or mangle him???   I guess well never know.  The family has since been given a new dog to replace Taco.

Too much booze, and a bad idea!

All Washington Police had to do was follow a trail of pillows and backpacks to find to crooks who had broken into a department store.  They didn’t make it far, Kyle Burress, 25, and Allen Pierce, 27,were found asleep behind the store, one was in a stolen hammock and the other on a pile of stolen pillows.

It’s a shame really that they got charged with second-degree burglary, i think it’s rather amusing!

A Daytona Beach police officer thought it was his right as a cop to demand and get free coffee from a Starbucks and threatened employees with slower emergency response times if they refused.

Lt. Major Garvin, a 15-year veteran, was fired July 8, 2008 after failing a polygraph test that he himself insisted on taking.

Starbucks claim that since June 2007, Garvin, whilst on duty, would visit the store as many as six times a night and cut in front of paying customers.

Hmmmmm talk about stereotypes….. I wonder if he hit up Dunkin Donuts as well.

An unidentified 58-year-old Phoenix man was killed by a recycling truck last Saturday in what police believe was a “tragic accident.”

Phoenix police said the man was struck by a large “front end loader” recycling truck at 9 a.m. and died at the scene. They are large vehicles, but even if the driver missed him, how could this man not have seen the truck?! Something just isn’t right about this one in my book!

No charges have been made and no other details have been released.

Has Lisa Kudrow has been living a double life? A bit of hair dye and no make-up did the trick and suddenly she has a whole new life!

Ok so the resemblance is striking between Missing Solder Jeneesa Lewis and Lisa Kudrow but in all seriousness this poor mother of three from Texas was kidnapped, beaten and stabbed twice by none other than her husband, Clinton W. Lewis, who is now in jail.

“He took her into Nevada,” said Lewis’s grandmother who spoke to her. “She said she’s in shock. She’s got two big holes in her legs and she lost of a lot of blood.”

Why did he do it? Well she wrote him a note and told him to leave, she wanted a divorce. His response:

“He told her that if she ever left him, he’d kill her. If he couldn’t have her, no one could,” Lewis’s sister said. “I’ve heard him say that myself, several times.”

I guess he was trying to be a man of his word……. Thankfully he had a change of heart after he stabbed her and drove her back to El Paso to turn himself in.

Really is DMX that hard up that he can’t pay a $7,500 medical bill? Apparently so, either that or he just can’t help himself when it comes to crime!!

Back in April the 37-year-old rapper whose real name is Earl Simmons, checked in to the Scottsdale, Arizona, Mayo Clinic for pneumonia. Allegedly he used a fake name, no not DMX, but “Troy Jones” and a fake Social Security number to avoid paying the bill.

As he was being arrested in Phoenix‘s Metrocenter mall by officers, the rapper turned to local news cameras, and said, “harassment,” and shook his head.

I believe this is DMX’s 6th arrest in the last 3 months unless I have missed something, here are his mug shots so far….. on July 2 he was arrested for two outstanding warrants and then he was busted on June 27 after he allegedly tried to buy drugs from an undercover officer, and then again on June 23, May 9 and May 7. Oh and let’s not forget last years animal cruelty charges and felony drug possession …

Hmmm, harassment? Nope he just can’t be a good boy!

In Pittsburgh yesterday the Johnson’s family reported their pregnant daughter, 18 year old Kia Johnson, missing to police. Her due date was July 30.

A woman, Curry-Demus, showed up at the local hospital last Thursday claiming she had just given birth to a newborn that still had its umbilical cord attached. But something was very wrong with the picture and it didn’t take long for staff to prove via tests that she was not the mother.

Curry-Demus told police she miscarried in June, not wanting to upset her mother by telling her she had lost the baby she decided to buy one. Apparently she befriended a pregnant woman named Tina and had just paid $1,000 for the child.

Still things didn’t add up, especially when a foul odor was reported to be coming from her apartment.

Last Friday an unidentified woman’s body bound in duct tape, her head sealed in plastic, was found inside Curry-Demus’ Wilkinsburg apartment. Although the cause of death could not yet be determined, she appeared to have been dead for about two days. The police department reported finding a lot of evidence indicating a struggle had occurred and that the dead woman had been pregnant, however, her baby was no where to be found. Why? Because her abdomen had been opened with a sharp weapon, along with her the uterus and detectives found placenta at the scene.

The Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s office has tentatively identified the victim as Kia Johnson, stating that:

“Circumstances would dictate that it has to be. There can’t be too many cases similar to this at the same time”.

The really frightening thing is that this isn’t Curry-Demus’s first attempt at butchering someone for a baby. In 1990, Curry-Demus, then known as Andrea Curry, was accused of stabbing a Wilkinsburg woman in an alleged plot to steal the woman’s infant. A day after the stabbing, Curry-Demus snatched a 3-week-old baby girl from Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. The baby was found unharmed with Curry-Demus at her home the next day.

Curry-Demus pleaded guilty in 1991 to various charges related to both incidents and was sentenced to 3 to 10 years in prison. However, she was paroled 7 years later.

Curry-Demus has been charged with child endangerment and dealing in infant children. She has been jailed with a $10,000 bond and a psychiatric exam. Further charges are expected once the body has been officially identified through dental records.

What pushes another woman to such lengths to obtain a child? Surely she should have been getting counseling during her last stint in prison, but our system has cracks and she might have been over looked. And is she did get help …. It clearly didn’t work. We obviously need better evaluation processes before we parole.

The baby is doing well.

UPDATE: Andrea Curry-Demus, 38, of Wilkinsburg, has been charged with the death of Kia Johnson, 18, of McKeesport. Along with unlawful restraint and kidnapping of the new born baby boy.

A Los Angeles Superior Court sentenced 77-year-old Helen Golay and 75-year-old Olga Rutterschmidt to two consecutive life terms each in the 1999 death of Paul Vados, 73, and the 2005 death of Kenneth McDavid, 50.

The women were convicted of a scheme in which they befriended homeless men, took out multiple life insurance policies on them, murdered them and staged it to look like hit-and-run auto accident.

Prosecutors say the women collected $2.8 million before the scheme was uncovered.

During the trial, the jury watched a videotape of the two women while in jail after their arrests in which Rutterschmidt scolded Golay for getting too greedy.

“It’s your fault,” Rutterschmidt told Golay on the video. “You can’t have that many insurances. … You were greedy. That’s the problem.”

No Olga, killing two guys for cash was the problemo ……  you should have stuck to the gardening and needle point.

July 4th, 2008, day of independence. Well, apparently one man took that too way too literally. On that day of celebration a man letting his freedom ring by exposing himself and masturbating on a city bus. And as if that is sick enough, he was doing this in front of bus riders and 2 children under the age of 9. The riders tried to make contact with the man, but he slipped away. The police reviewed the video taken on the bus and went back to where he was picked up and they nabbed him. The suspect was booked for two felony counts of indecent exposure, two felony counts of public sexual indecency, one misdemeanor count of indecent exposure and one misdemeanor count of public sexual indecency. They should add amputation of his **ck to that. That’s what I would call justice.

Viacom won a decision from a judge on their on-going copyright infringement case against Google, parent company of YouTube.

According to Wired:

Google will have to turn over every record of every video watched by YouTube users, including users’ names and IP addresses, to Viacom, which is suing Google for allowing clips of its copyright videos to appear on YouTube, a judge ruled Wednesday.

Viacom is seeking $1 billion dollars for all those uploaded videos of Viacom owned property without their permission or financial compensation.

Of course Google is appealing the decision, but this will probably go the full legal distance as both sides continue to argue back and forth.

At least if you get one of those RIAA-type letters threatening jail time one day, you’ll know why.

According to the International Herald Tribune, the global edition of the New York Times, this could be coming your way in the near future:

The Information Card Foundation is an effort to create a single industrywide approach to managing identity online that promises to reduce drastically the use of passwords and create a system that is less vulnerable to fraud.

The idea is to bring the concept of an identity card, like a driver’s license, to the online world. Rather than logging on to sites with user IDs and passwords, people will gain access to sites using a secure digital identity that is overseen by a third party. The user controls the information in a secure place and transmits only the data that is necessary to access a Web site.

Okay, first and foremost, you’ve got to see who’s already in bed with this thing: Microsoft, Google, PayPal, Equifax, Novell and Oracle. These are some big companies trying to do this and all of them have something to sell to you.

My problem with all of this should be obvious; they are talking about you turning your information over to them so they can keep it safe for you.

Everything you do would be “overseen by a third party.”

Microsoft alone has already shown a ready willingness to share your personal information with the government whoever with little more than a phone call.

The article is short on specifics on how they are actually going to convince the public this is a good idea, they estimate it will probably take a “few years.” By using the common fear tactics (the Phishing scams), they will probably slowly eat away at our natural knee-jerk reaction against initiatives like this.

On the other hand, people might wake up and see this for what it is: an unneeded system that tackles a problem anyone with half a brain and a little diligence could solve themselves.

I don’t know about you, but I’d rather NOT follow along with this proposal.

An unidentified Israeli police officer shot himself in the head, thus committing suicide, at the airport departure ceremony for French President Nicolas Sarkozy.

Instantly a mass of bodyguards whisked Sarkozy and Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert away towards their cars.

Fearing for her life Sarkozy’s wife, Carla Bruni-Sarkozy, rushed up the stairs. I say let him take the bullet for you sweetie… he’s got plenty of bodyguards where as you clearly had none…

Of course this has sparked fears with the self-centered French of an assignation attempt ….. but me thinks a trained cop would have a better aim than the average Joe and not mistakenly shoot himself in the head…… the hand or foot perhaps, but not the head….

  This one is a long time coming.  I’m surprised that it took this long for something like this to happen to the music industry, but mainly Rap. 

A 14 year-old boy has sued Universal Music Group and 50 cent for promoting a "gangsta lifestyle".  The boy is seeking damages from the rapper, the company and all of its labels because friends of 50 assaulted him.

James Rosemond says with his mother, that 50 and the labels endorse and promote violence which is why he was assaulted by 50′s crew.

James was assaulted because he was wearing a T-Shirt that promoted an ex-member of 50′s crew and blah, blah, blah.  If you break this down to its basic, this kid is suing because he knows he got beat up to put 50 and his crew back into the limelight so everyone can see he and his crew are still hard.

I have never been a big fan of rap.  But back when it was trying to say something, and or was about having a good time on a non violent non drug induced level, it was cool and had it’s place.  But when it turned to kill, degrade women and all the rest, I checked out.  As a musician, I am completely amazed that it’s still around, but I can see the writing on the wall finally.  And when record companies start getting sued by kids because grown men beat them up for wearing a T-Shirt, that turns into liability they don’t want or need. 

At long last we are now marching toward the grave site with a headstone that reads "Gansta Rap, RIP"  The RIP part will be added as a touch irony.

  The old "Guns don’t kill, people who use them do" adage is turning up in new ways these days.  Like in the video game world.  Increasingly violent video games are roughing the feathers of many who see them as the cause of increasing violence in today’s youth.  There is definitely proof of this.

But can you hold a company that created a game liable for an act of violence perpetrated by an individual that happens to own a violent game in their collection?  The Arizona state legislature is seeking to do just that.

"A bill currently under consideration in the Arizona state legislature would impose liability on persons who produce or distribute "dangerous or obscene" content (including audio, video, interactive media, and even written content) that is found to be the material cause of a terrorist act or felony. The broadly-worded proposal, which is touted by its supporters as a tool for financially punishing makers of violent rape films, is viewed with serious concern by movie producers and video game developers who fear that it will be abused." — arstechnica

I don’t believe this will ever pass, nor should it.  But on the other side of that fence, there is evidence that these games have some form of control over weak minded and or unsupervised kids.  Not to mention unstable adults.   

Every few weeks a new game enters the market with far more realistic violence than the weeks of games prior.   When you hear stories of a brother killing his brother because it was his turn, you have to stop and wonder if this stuff is going to far and contributing influence toward the increasing disregard for human life.

Remember the good old days when gas was two dollars a gallon…oh I believe in yesterdays. With the oil companies charting record profits and no forseeable end in sight in gas increases, we must share whatever tips we can on saving money at the pump. And, I don’t want to hear any blah blah about alternative fuel sources because WE ALL KNOW THAT ALREADY, but it is not as though some switch can be flipped to make the change, it will take time, research, and enough sabotage to make it work. Ryan Unumb a 7 year-old boy that like millions of others around the world, is normal, cute, and inquisitive youngster. However being diagnosed with Autism, the challenges of his young life may not seem apparent to him, but to his mom and dad, Lorri and Dan, it is all too real. Presently, most states don’t have medical coverage for Autism, although it is slowly changing the financial burden for this semi-epidemic can be staggering. Dan and Lorri are lawyers that wrote a bill to change the law in South Carolina, and with the support of families and State Legislators, Ryan’s Law will be in effect in July. “Ryan’s Law mandates that insurance companies provide up to $50k a year for behavioral therapy up to the age of 16. It also prohibits insurers from refusing other medical care to children because of their Autism. It doesn’t, however, apply to people or companies who are self-insured, such as the Unumbs.” Read

In Rome, Italy, two teenage Bulgarian sisters 19 and 16, that were employed by a circus in southern Italy were recently rescued by the police as they were forced to swim in a clear tank with piranhas and the other was forced into a container and was injured by snakes being thrown at her by co-workers. According to Yahoo, three Italians who managed the circus were arrested for having the sisters subjected to slavery conditions. This definitely not your father’s Ringling Bros. and Barnum and Bailey circus, the three that were arrested should be forced to swim naked with the piranhas, I bet they won’t find it so damn funny.

The reason why other countries and cultures absolutely despise us Americans is because of that indomitable entrepeneurial spirit that says “Freedom“. To some Asian countries, rattlesnakes are considered an aphrodisiac, so to that ol’ crazy Bob, 1+1 does equal 2. The unknown snag was that he doesn’t have a liquor license, so the 411 ten inch bottles that were going to be sold for an affordable $23 were all confiscated by The Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission.   In a rare moment that should be marked on everyones calendar just for the hell of it, Vonage stepped into a courtroom with legal briefs, and walked out victorious.

You may remember that the good state of Nebraska was trying to squeeze more tax money from the VoIP provider by trying to make Vonage pay into it’s Universal Service Fund. 

This was another tax on top of all the taxes the company (any communications company) is already required to pay up.  But Vonage argued that they are not a telecommunications company (which is news to me) they are in fact a data service, therefore exempt from those fees.

A Federal Court agrees with Vonage and Vonage walks away with a rare court victory.

Stories, like the following, I get no pleasure out of reporting, but I realize that although it pains me and brings me to tears, our readers deserve to know it. I firmly believe that the greater amount of us on this planet, regardless of gender, race, ethnicity, religious affiliation/or not, geographical location, or political beliefs, are working for/towards the greater good of society. However, when we are faced with such abject evil, my tolerance is zero, and my usual high level of compassion goes M.I.A. A pregnant, 29 year-old mentally challenged mother of a one year-old boy, Dorothy Dixon lived the last few months of her life in hell. The horror story centers around five people who physically and mentally abuse Ms. Dixon, but the ringleader, Michelle Riley, worked with the developmentally disabled, befriended and took in Ms. Dixon. Riley, who had suffered from years of drug abuse while raising her children, overcame tremendous odds only to become a manipulative monster with a sense of entitlement. Dixon was made to sleep on a thin mat in the basement of their home, having her Soc. Security checks taken from her by Riley while being beaten by the four accomplices. Although she was allowed out of the house, the neighbors didn’t suspect any wrongdoing. Fast Forward, during the autopsy, x-rays showed 30 bb’s lodged in her, deep tissue burns over 1/3 of her body, and she was severly dehydrated. It was not reported what abuse her son received, but when he was taken into State Custody, the one year-old was only fifteen pounds. My heart aches for the pain this infant/toddler must have endured to witness his mother being abused and the pain Dorothy endured to provide for her son. May each one of these souless beings face a punishment 100x worse than imaginable. Our condolences to the family and those who knew Dorothy Dixon. Read

  16,000 Republicans switched parties in Cuyahoga County says the Cleveland Plain Dealer.  That’s just a small sampling of the voters who switched parties at the behest of their lord and king, Rush Limbaugh.   

In the weeks leading up to the Ohio and Texas primaries, Rush started a campaign to have Republicans vote for Hilary Clinton because he and most Americans believe that John McCain will have a much easier time beating her in the general election. 

Callers into their saviors show have been bragging about their votes and comentors across the internet have been doing so as well.  Of course this will fall on deaf ears of Clinton supporters and Republicans who really want to retain the White House.  But democrats should take a step back and remember for a moment.  RIP 2000/2004.  All that foul you were screaming then, is just as foul now.

However this time it’s not just foul, it’s illegal.  A new law punishable by 6 to 12 months in the poky and a $2,500 fine.   Ohio (my home state) revised its election code to include a falsification clause (Revised Code 3513.20).

But don’t expect anything to come out of it.   I think its really interesting to consider the fact that a candidate for the US Presidency is being voted for because the opponents believe strongly and openly that one is easily beatable, and one isn’t.

With the N.Y.GOP basically telling ESpitz to “kick rocks” for his very public call girl scandal, embarrassing himself, his family, and constituents, his resignation should be imminent. With that being said, who is David Paterson? David Paterson is the Lt. Governor who is the first African-American and legally blind person to hold his position. He has optic atrophy, and is unable to see out of left eye and seriously limited vision in his right eye. History could be made very shortly, but I seriously hope that he doesn’t have any career ending skeletons in his closet as well. Read

Eliot Spitzer has been implicated in a federal wiretap involving high priced prostitutes, “oh what a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive!” The Governor held a press conference and had the following to say: “I have acted in a way that violates my obligation to my family and violates my or any sense of right from wrong, I apologize first and most importantly to my family. I apologize to the public to whom I promised better. I have disappointed and failed to live up to the standard I expected of myself. I must now dedicate some time to regain the trust of my family.” Blah blah blah, I didn’t think about my wife or kids as I dropped a cool 3-5k for some exclusive coochie…cry me a river you ass! In Indianapolis, IN Todd Spears and Simone Hamilton, both 19 year-old parents of their 7 week-old son, Jaden. These two parents got into some sort of disagreement, which is unknown at this time, but a “tug of war” ensued resulting in multiple fractures to his legs, feet, ribs, and an arm. This littlest of victims, had to be put in multiple casts, are you friggin kidding me? I wish this whole thing was misreported! The father had become frustrated with the baby on different occasions as he admitted to squeezing and shaking Jaden and the mother had also been found guilty of neglecting the baby as well. I am always surprised that more teens and young adults don’t use condoms or some method of birth control as very few of them have the maturity or mental capacity to care for a child. It just seems to me that if you are really young and promiscuous, like many of us may have been, wouldn’t you take any precaution you had to to “keep the party going.” Understand, I encourage young people to be abstain as long as possible and not to have sex with anyone that they couldn’t see as a parent to their child, if they got pregnant. But, I still have to be realistic as to the world we live in, where most kids are sexually active at a much younger age and education in school and in the home is so important. My heart goes out to this brutalized little boy and I say that these parents should be prosecuted but also given the tools to win/succeed at parenting, just sending them to jail for 20/40 years isn’t going to solve anything. In San Luis Obispo, Ca It has been alleged that Ruben Navarro, a young man who suffered from a nerve disease from the age of nine to twenty-five, was euthanized by Dr.Hootan Roozrokh, a California transplant doctor to harvest his organs. According to Dr.Lubarsky, a critical care specialist, Dr. Roozrokh ordered morphine and/or Ativan prior to Dr.Lubarsky taking Reuben off of life support and pronouncing him dead. However, one important part of this potential felony case is that Navarro didn’t eventually expire until eight hours later, so if Dr.Roozrokh really wanted the organs, why wait until he couldn’t use them? But the fact still remains that as a transplant surgeon, Dr.Roozrokh is not supposed to be in the room until the death was formally declared. In Alba, Texas, a town of 430 people, a sixteen year-old that was forbidden to date an older boy, has been arrested for the murder of her mother and two brothers and the attempted murder of her father. The sixteen year-old shot and stabbed her mother and two brothers before torching the home with three other accomplices; her father who shot in the head, crawled 300 yards to a neighbors house. Her father, who is in critical condition, identified one of the three accomplices. Read

Wether or not this individual has a real and true claim to this particular technology is in my mind first and foremost a moot point.

The European Commission has hit Microsoft with a whopping $1.34 Billion fine for not complying with a ruling set out in 2004 for creating a business monopoly by not allowing competition access to its OS.

I got start this post by offering my condolences to the Groh family for their loss, BUT, when you do cageless dives with dangerous sharks, what in the bloody hell do you think is going to happen? You couldn’t pay me to even go into the Ocean, I don’t do beaches, snorkling, scuba diving, shark dives, catamarans, surfing, or boogie boarding, if I can’t see the bottom or touch the sides, no way will you get my ass to do any of these things! I am all about having a good time and being adventurous, but some things are non-negotiable. Jim Abernathy of Jim Abernathy’s Scuba Adventures is known as a vanguard in Tiger and Hammerhead shark interactions, however according to Neal Watson, President of the Bahamas Diving Association, he had continually warned Jim about the immense dangers of cageless dives with dangerous species. Unfortunately, Markus Groh, an Australian lawyer died affter being gnawed during a dive with Jim. The 49 year-old Groh died from blood loss in the Bahamas as Florida has banned the diving since 01′. Damn, that…I can’t even imagine being gnawed to death by some shark as clearly you can’t out run or out swim the damn thing.
