Yeah, 81% of the American people surveyed, with a majority of the most well off in this country all agree in poll after poll, go back to the Clinton era taxes rate on the top 1% of americans making over a million dollars a year. Yet every time a Republican gets in front of a camera, they tell the camera that they will not raise taxes and the American people are behind them.

No, we are not. The folks affected by loophole closing rate roll back, are not behind you. Zombies are in my opinion, the worst of the bunch when it comes to undead horrors of cinema. The Zombie affect is way to over used in film and video games. Even the premise of a Zombie bugs me. So imagine my surprise when I found myself hooked onto the AMC breakout hit ‘The Walking Dead’ after watching just one episode.

This is a well made show, acutely written, well acted and just plain fun to watch, even with grunting zombies aimlessly wandering around. If you’re a fan of Breaking Bad, Sunday nights premiere also gave you a chance to see a bit of action coming up in the second season of Walking Dead this October. Derek “Tex” Grebner, “ripped a round” through his leg while demonstrating “how to draw and fire from defensive retention.” The outdoors show host pulled his Kimber Pro Carry II .45 from its hoister and promptly shot himself through the leg. Grebner survived the point blank self inflicted bullet wound, so its safe to say that what happens after the gun goes off, is fairly amusing.

For some reason, FoxNews, a channel that claims to be serious news and to deal with serious issues, continues to take its fight to… Jon Stewart, a comedian. They are taking their fight to Jon because Jon is funny and a lot of his comedy comes at their expense. It’s easy for him because they give him so much material everyday.

The latest FoxNews Jon Stewart outrage is about Herman Cain, and a voice Jon used when doing his bit on Herman Cain’s stupidity. Of course they called him racist. They don’t actually watch the show. They get their info from commentors telling them what people say about them and their fellow Republicans. All the employees over at Fox never seem to do any research to make sure the attack they are about to launch will be accurate, and Jon Stewart proves it, easily.

Like in politics, Michele Bachmann can’t get too far away from Sarah Palin. This time its not because they both had some sly way to put down an entire group of people, or because they both got angry with the media for reporting something they actually and factually said. No, this time its because they both now have the honor of having their very own ‘History Channel’ TV shows.

While tipping his hat and wagging his finger, Stephen Colbert looks into the hat/hate relationship floridians are having with their newly elected governor, Rick Scott. Stephen seems to think the problem could stem from his (Rick Scott’s) need to kill Harry Potter.

Sunday morning Jon Stewart sat down with Chris Wallace on FoxNews, and once again another right wing talking head thought he would be able to take him down. He didn’t.

Not only did Chris Wallace fail, he went ahead and blew his own argument by admitting that FoxNews is in fact ‘unfair and unbalanced,’ further proved by the fact that FoxNews edited the interview before airing it.

Amy Winehouse exited drug rehab with a smile on her face and a song in her heart. The one time lover of booze and alcohol told her adoring fans that she was ready to return to the productive world of making and preforming music, leaving her destructive ways behind her.

Then came her show, her first show in Serbia. She showed up drunk, and was booed off of the stage. Later, her management released a statement informing her public that her next two scheduled shows would be canceled. Watch her epic comeback performance.

Conan’s new talk show on TBS isn’t paying him the big time NBC money that he and his producers are accustomed to. So when he wants to play a game like ‘Name That Tune’, he can’t have his band just go ahead and play the original tune, that would cost too much. Instead, the band and a lounge singer play a few notes that sound like the original tune. Songs like ‘C-Sectioned in the USA’ and ‘Resembling someone who has never had sex’ make the challenge of naming that tune a fun one for the studio audience.

If you caught last nights episode of Conan and you are a male, then you already know that TeamCoCo brought you the best gift you could ever receive, and just in time for Father’s Day. “Has Your Crotch Turned Evil? Has your penis been misbehaving? Sue it!”

Okay, this is absolutely hilarious! So many things happen, Jon speaks from a Motel 6 in Anthony Weiner fashion, but is actually apologizing for not providing enough comedy relief on the story. During this mock conference, Stewart actually cuts his hands, then turns the show over to Jon Oliver.

After regaining the show, Jon interviews Kristen Schaal about the recent rash of penis photos. All three clips are hilarious so do yourself a favor, hit play and kick back.

I know you all thought the Harold Camping story was dead. Yes, it was dead before it even started. But Stephen Colbert returned to the airwaves to resurrect doomsday and help us understand it all a bit better.

And here we go again, the moronic sycophant media obsession with yet another candidate who is not really a candidate, just a person who knows the media will follow her and hang on her every word like brain dead lap dogs chasing a plastic turkey on a string. She knows that Chris Matthews will dedicate almost his entire show to her and her stupidity everyday. She knows that publicity is her best friend just like Trump, and those in the media are more than happy to oblige them.

Luckily we have Jon Stewart! He’s back from the 15th vacation this year, and he’s shedding some truth. Hopefully he wont be talking about her every night though, because if he does I’ll have to stop watching him too.

I can’t help but love Betty White. Sure she’s cute, cuddly and lovable, but there’s something else. Maybe it’s my memories of her ‘Sue Ann Nivens’ role on Mary Tyler Moore. When TV used to show reruns of old amazing television shows, Sue Ann Nivens was reintroduced to viewers too young to remember or just not yet born when Betty and her sexed up character was unleashed on a completely puritanical country.

There’s something about that character that is always present underneath everything the cute, cuddly White does. That underneath Nivens makes Betty White perpetually amazing to watch. Have a look at this new AARP ad that features Betty White as everyone in it.

Jay Leno remains under my radar, in fact I sometimes forget that he is even still on television. However, I was reminded this time around because Megan McCain appeared on the show. It was obvious that she would have to talk about the recent fight between her, her family and Glenn Beck, a fight that Glenn Beck truly should have lost a lot of his privileges for.

You may recall that Glenn Beck acted as though he was vomiting over McCain’s appearance in a ad spot speaking to women about the dangers of skin cancer. In the ad, Megan appears to be naked, as do the rest of the spokeswomen. Good ol Christian, religious, God fearing Glenn Beck, took the opportunity to completely mock McCain for being in the ad, and her body image. He has basically gotten away with it.

The faithful day draws ever closer Harry Potter fans. The day when the book will be closed forever. Names and faces we have grown up with and stories we have waited for will be finalized, never to again enchant us with the allure of a semesters magical visitation. It is strange to simultaneously be excited and sad about the arrival of something great. To make matters worse, or better depending on which side of the spectrum you are standing on, making the anticipation even more difficult, new trailers for the final chapter continue to make way to the internet, and as a fan, each one must be watched.

So watch.

In what I think is Conan’s best Vlog entry, the red head late night host checks in with Jerry Springer who is in the middle of eating cereal. This is no ordinary cereal however, this is Jerry’s own concoction. The cereal is a mixture of Cap’n Crunch and Grape Nuts, which he aptly titles “Cap’n Crunch’s Nuts.”

But that’s not even the best part! After hanging up on Springer, Conan introduces those tuning into his bedroom Vlog to a brand new segment. Judgmental Pets, is a new segment where Conan shows pictures of Judgmental Pets, if you couldn’t guess. Hilarious!

When Stephen’s robot, Pandertron 8000 walked onto the set to help Stephen understand Newt Gingrich logic, the first thing out of its mouth was “Pandertron loves Stephen, make him feel good.” To which Stephen was forced to hastily reply “Not now Pandertron, not now.”

Stephen found himself needing help in understanding how he and by extension ‘we’ should not believe any accurate quotes of Newt’s ‘Meet The Press’ gaffe this past Sunday. The Palinesque defense offered up by Gingrich, or as Jon Stewart coined him, “Newt Blingrich” after Newt’s $500,000 Tiffany’s debt was discovered, was so confusing that the Pandertron 8000 was needed to compute the statement and help Colbert Colbert (Us) understand it.

It didn’t help.

HILARIOUS!! Jon Stewart once again steps into the sanity surrounded by a moat of insanity regarding the world ending on May 21st (this Saturday), and the debt ceiling not ending the world as we know it.

Of course it should go without question that Stewart was able to find FoxNews clips going hyper on the hyperbole surrounding a very complicated issue. And of course, its all Obama’s fault.

Keith Olbermann sat down with David Letterman on ‘The Late Show’ and talked about his departure from MSNBC, and his pending show on Current TV this coming June 20th.

This is the very first television interview given by Olbermann since leaving his highly rated MSNBC show. Take a look at the more interesting tidbits from the interview.

“This whole thing makes John Edwards look like father of the year.” Colbert really wants to stay away from this one, he would much rather talk about the Republicans shooting down a bill that would have ended oil subsidies for big oil companies. Oh yeah, that happened yesterday if you didn’t know. The Senate Republicans successfully defeated a bill that would have stopped big oil from being subsidized by we the tax payer, while big oil companies make record profits year after year.

But Colbert is beside himself. Yes, it’s an important issue and Americans should know all the ends-an-outs of what took place in the Senate. But this is Arnold, sex and a baby mama, he had to dish.

Leave it to Jon Stewart to be the one person sitting behind a news desk to finally ask the question, “What about the investigators you said you sent to Hawaii?” Donald Trump exposed himself as a liar, and it’s taking some a while to let go. They’re so deeply ashamed of themselves for letting this lair suck them in hook, line and sinker, that they are still mustering up strength to defend him.

Not Jon however, Jon wants him to come back and run simply due to all the jokes he and the writers had prepared!
