Pre Theme

Looking for proof that Palm’s new hotness, the Palm Pre is indeed actually factually hot? Take a look at this, a Palm Pre theme for Blackberry. Much like the weeks and months before the actual launch of the iPhone, where themes were popping up for every other OS out there to mimic the Apple device, the Pre seems to be garnering some of the same UI envy well before the device itself makes it into the hands of happy owners. If that’s not proof, I don’t know what is.

HTC Slide Theme

The one and only thing I like about the HTC Touch Pro is the look of Touch Flo. I would never give up my Blackberry to use the HTC Touch Pro full time because I find WinMo to be incredibly annoying. But I have often wondered what 3D Touch Flo would look like and feel like on my Blackberry, now I now, GREAT!

Thanks to ‘CrackBerry.com forums member KDJayo’ anyone who has admired the look of the HTC Touch Pro, but would much rather stick with their Blackberry, the HTC Slide Theme for $5 can deliver you and your BB the Touch Pro Flo style.

Urban

Here’s a new theme from Elecite, one of my fav BB Theme developers. The Urban theme creates a very cool cityscape atmosphere for your Blackberry, including the Blackberry Storm. It has been a little while since we’ve seen Elecite pump out another one of their great themes, but the drought has just ended and you’re thirst has been quenched. If you’re of the female persuasion that is. Or, I don’t know. Luckily Elecite, a major favorite around these parts, has introduced another sure to be classic BB theme. Metal

If you’re anything like me, the Metallic or Aluminum look is uber appealing. Now that we now the Verizon BB 8830 is on it’s way to OS 4.5, I think this is one theme that will look amazing on it. But of course it’s not only for the VZW BB 8830, this theme will look great on any Blackberry running 4.5. If you have a 9000 series or 8220 you’ll get the added benefit of a sliding dock.

PSB: Playstation Styled Theme

Any fan of Playstation is going to absolutely love this new theme from elecite. And If your not a 3 hour a day playstation abuser, it just might turn you into one. PSB turns your Blackberry into a Playstation, and if you have games on your BB, the operation will be complete.

Sidewinder

You may remember Jason Calhoun from the popular Sreamline theme talked about here on Morninpaper. Jason has a flare for the simple as is perfectly displayed in his newest theme for the Blackberry Storm, Sidewinder. Sidewinder is his second them for the Storm. I like this one because it takes advantage of the real-estate afforded by the Storm’s large screen, giving the owner a feeling of space while providing the necessary applications.

Sidewinder features a unique half circle navigation area which you can customize with your 6 favorite applications which will appear on your homescreen. When you place the calendar, sms or email applications in either position #1 or #2 on the main application screen, a today text area will appear when you hove over that icon on the homescreen. Last week we got news of aÃ‚Â new theme coming for the Blackberry, Ã‚Â The Video of the theme in its infancy looked so good that we couldn’t wait to see this one hit bplay’s pages. Ã‚Â It has, and with a name, Flowberry!

In all my joy over the brand new FlowBerry Theme posted earlier, I realized that I have neglected to show off theÃ‚Â Finder ThemeÃ‚Â from Bplay.

Though not as technically advanced as FlowBerry, Finder is elegantly simple in it’s approach. Ã‚Â Any self respecting Mac owner will tell you that the desktop stays clean, no clutter to mess up the vibrant color of your wallpaper and beauty of your Mac screen.

HedoneDesign has created a theme that I absolutely love and will be doing a review of next week. Ã‚Â But in the meantime, I want Blackberry Storm users to know that the theme is now ready for your touchscreen device, which seriously makes me jealous.

OSXLike is truly the closest any theme has gotten to recreating the Mac OSX look and feel for the Blackberry OS. Ã‚Â I can only imagine how nice it will look and feel on the Blackberry Storm.

Here’s a theme you’re sure to like. If you can’t have the Blackberry Storm because you’re not on Verizon or Vodafone, and you can’t upgrade your OS to 4.5 because you’re on Sprint (really, Sprint, what’s up with that?) grab the Blackberry Storm theme fromÃ‚Â Themes4bb. HedoneDesign has released their Vista styled theme for the Blackberry Storm, and Storm users who love the look of the coming Widows 7 should really be happy because these guys make some fantastic theme Software.

Appleberry

It’s times like these (and lately there have been a lot of these times) that I really wish I could stand paying Verizon’s outrageous prices just so that I could have a BB Storm. Ã‚Â Sure, I could get an unlocked one, but I like to eat meals and keep the power on in my house. Ã‚Â But man O man would I love to through this new theme, AppleBerry on a Blackberry Storm. Ã‚Â Since I can’t, if you’re like minded and love your MacOSX, you should do us both a favor and try it out.

The theme was created by a [Crackberry] forum member (hastings) who put a lot of time into it. Ã‚Â From the looks of it the time paid off. Ã‚Â Best thing about it is, you wont’, pay that is.

AppleBerry is free! Ã‚Â It’s in public beta so I am not sure if it will turn into a paid app, but as good as this theme looks, hastings should certainly except some coin.

Dreamthemes

The new Dream Themes for any Blackberry aren’t so much themes in as much as they are Software live screens that take over your Blackberry and turn it into a beautiful work of animated art.

There are six themes at the moment with the promise of more:

Each theme is beautifully animated and comes with their own set of icons. Ã‚Â The home screens are very customizable and you can exit the screen at any time by clicking the “End Call” key.
